Heritage & Listed Buildings
Colbre Projects have dealt with some very interesting buildings over the years from Churches and Factories to Parks and redundant City Centre Buildings. The success of any Heritage work requires detailed and specialist knowledge and is essential when working in these potentially fragile environments.
Listed buildings are part of the history of cities and towns and Colbre Projects prides itself in bringing these buildings back into useful and beautiful spaces, to create something not just for clients and the end user but the public at large.
Colbre Projects work with developers to provide boutique quality Student Accommodation throughout the North of England. We have completed in excess of 350 student suites in University Towns and Cities from Nottingham to Glasgow in former offices, Churches and other redundant buildings.

As with all builds the need for residential homes to have a low carbon footprint has to be a priority, so as builders we will always try and advance the boundaries and to make sure that innovation and sustainability is at the forefront of our minds.
The communication between the untilites, underground services and product lead times play a major factor in residential builds and therefore regular meetings between design teams and clients must be factored into the weekly and monthly site meetings. For the project to run on time and on budget Colbre’s planner works on the latest software supporting our site activities, planned lead times and procurement dates. Our procurement department works tirelessly to provide cost effective but suitable building materials which are all be backed by FSC and PEFC chain of custody certification.
