With the Manchester Apartment Market still booming we are happy to be working with our Client to provide some attractive studio's and one bed apartments, nestled within the leafy suburb of Eccles and Ellesmere Park. We are currently working hard to transform this large Victorian Semi into 18 apartments that provide all the right features and amenities that the rental market are seeking. Colbre Projects have a great pedigree within the refurbishment sector converting many properties over the years into accommodation that suits all our clients purposes and we're well on the way to whipping this one into shape too.
Well while most of the country is still waiting for Spring to arrive we have decided to Spring into action. Colbre is moving into bigger offices within the same building so all being well not much disruption to sites and services. Our telephone number and email has not changed so all the outside world should notice will be a short downtime around lunchtime 30th March while we move the server. We are hoping to get the main line diverted to my mobile so all will be good.
Well, a much need revamp of the website is now available for all to see and thanks to the patience of Daniel at ISSL Website Design in Bury we have finally gone live. The site shows a fresher image of Colbre with many of our more recent projects in full colour with photos from our local photographer Tony Jones.
We have recently started a large Luxury New Build development based in Lostock Bolton. Set in 15 acres of the grounds of the former Burnthwaite Hall, the development will provide Five new detached dwellings, each home is to be provided with its own individual character, through design and situation but all share a common theme of contemporary character and distinction
The first of the Queens Brewery Apartments are to be opened for viewing this weekend these are part of an on-going project within the existing foot print of the old Hydes Brewery. 20 apartments from the first two phases are ready for rent and are looking very desirable within this heritage setting.
Colbre Projects are due to handover the first two of six phases of this historic building after 10 months of very complex and difficult work. The project includes elements of new build construction, major structural alterations and large scale refurbishment and renovation. The site, being the former Hydes Queens Brewery, was an amalgamation of industrial buildings developed over many years with differing purposes. Each historical element of the site offered different challenges, from Brewing Hall to Stables to Management Offices, these have been transformed by our team to provide some very exciting spaces including modern and attractive outdoor courtyard and secure car parking adjacent to the building.
The buildings have been sympathetically restored to their former glory whilst new additions blend in with the Victorian Brewery buildings. Internally we have created fresh, light living spaces to a high specification.
We have employed two new Apprentices Isaac and Tom straight from School and College. They have settled well into working life and are both honing their skills at our Hyde’s Brewery site working with our time served joiners. Working on first and second fix tasks such as skirting, architraves and pattresses is giving them great experience on machinery and tools but also learning the importance of interacting with sub-contractors and how the flow of work is achieved. We wish them well with their studies and look forward to a long working relationship.
